Quail is my all time favourite birds, whether it may be king , rock, jungle, painted whatever. In 2022 September when i saw one female Jungle bush quail in Satara in Maharashtra, I could not able to click it properly. Even though it was a proper habitat shot. Somehow I managed myself with that record shot in my gallery, this time it is in Hampi. With an incredible view along with entire family of bush quail surprised me. Those appear for food for around 5 min in front of my eyes. And I was so amazed to see and click few pictures of those. These are the glimpse of it.
BTW have you noticed one chick is hiding himself beneath of its father. That's how they do.

Notice the color pattern difference between male and female. Being a point and shoot user it was really challenging for me to manage some pictures. Here are some.

Pic: 5 and Pic: 6 are the pictures with their chicks.
There were total 3 chicks of 2 individual couple. All quails are very restless and when it involve with their chicks it becomes measurable to manage some decent shots. Somehow I got these shots where you can see the chicks are equally trained to foraging from the ground along with their parents. The show was incredible through.
