Yellow-throated sparrow
Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, Hampi, Karnataka
It is such a cute little sparrow which I feel has an distinct identification which attracted me all the time. I found it inside Daroji Sloth bear sanctuary foraging from the ground as a couple. Not too shy but somewhat restless bird. It was hopping with Jungle babblers around those and sometimes flew and sit on the branch nearby trees.

First two pictures shows male bird which have prominent yellow throat. I love this bird due to its distinctive wingbar and tailband and 3rd and 4th is female which does not have Yellow throat. But almost similar built as male bird.

We saw it in Daroji sloth bear sanctuary only even though we roam various habitat in Hampi. This is one of the birds which I used to wish to get photograph in my early bird watching days. That time being in Kolkata I never thought someday I will go to Karnataka and watch this bird. Actually I used to get attracted of beautiful pictures of this bird in social media. Now if I think I also have this bird record in my website I feel peace inside.
