More Information:	Now a days we all bounded into busy schedule, we hardly get time to roam around very often. Even if we plan for that we have to rescuer cancel it due to lack of time. So it’s better for us to target weekend and search for a destination which we can cover within 2 days. Chandipur in Balasore district in Odisha is one of the costal destinations which can be easily covered within short span of time. So today we are gonna talk about this place. Additionally we will talk about Panchalingeswar too. Chandipur Best time to visit Chandipur in Winter full moon and best way to reach by train. You have to access it through Balasore. One can easily book train from Howrah and can reach within 6 hours. From Balasore railway station you will get shared auto to cover 16 km to reach Chandipur. After it leave the city you will defiantly enjoy the scenic beauty around the route. Chandipur is a very small tourist spot of Odisha which gives you specific amount of hotels. You don’t need of pre booking, you can go on spot and search for it. Most of the hotels are nearby to beach area. There is a chowk kind of area in front where you can spend time in the evening and count the waves. Chandipur is good for sunrise as well as sunset. During day time you can have a costal trek towards Budhabalanga river confluence with Bay-of-Bengal. Be careful of quicksand. You will enjoy countless red crab on the beach area. In winter you will find migratory birds searching for food and flying in flocks … Morning walk around the beach will gives you immense pleasure and refreshments. Beach if Chandipur is not that suitable for taking bath still people would like to enjoy. In the evening few food stalls are installed and selling snacks… on the way to beach there are few shops which is very common in costal tourism. Taking about sightseeing, you can have a walk or hire auto or toto to move towards Balramgadi fish market and ferry ghat which is adjacent to Budhabalanga river confluence. You can enjoy few village temples, fishermen weaving fishing net and the confluence area. If you go for a walk in the evening towards Balaramgadi, you will see huge amount of fishes are being supplied through big boat. Those fishes are being sold to many where in markets including Kolkata. So that is all about Chandipur in short. People may explore in different way as per their choice. Food & Stay When I went there in 2017, there were very less amount of hotels and restaurants available. Specially for food you had to depends on the hotels where you stay. I stayed in hotel Shubham. ( F22Q+RC Chandipur, Odisha ). They have arrangements of food in their canteen. The food they have provided including fishes and all, I personally preferred. Price is pretty much standard. Room were pretty good, clean and hygienic. They have a lawn and small park inside the campus and the hotel is very near to the beach. Panchalingeswar Even though Panchalingeswar is not that nearby from Chandipur, still we made a plan to put it in our itinerary. It is around 30 km from Balasore and 40 km from Chandipur. Panchalingeswar can be visited individually or combined with Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary. Both are adjacent to each other. It comes under the Nilgiri range. To stay there you will find few hotels including OTDC. The area comes under the Kuldiha wildlife which is a dream for many wildlife lovers. Panchalingeswar is situated on a hillock with perennial streams falling on five natural Lingas. It has around 290 steps to reach to the temple. On the way to the temple area you will find several shops selling items for worship. On reaching the top one has to bend down, and search for the Linga’s inside a pool created by the waterfall. The approach to the temple is scenic as it is surrounded by a forest. Visitors can also go to Sajanagarh, near to Panchalingeshwar, to see the Budarachandi temple. The beauty on the way will refresh your mind and remove tiredness. If you wish you can have a shot jungle trip to Kuldiha but my suggestion would be Kuldiha must be explored separately to get its original flavour….
