| More Information: | Dariyapur is a small art village of Burdwan where around 30 to 40 houses have their own profession of making Dokra art, comes under Dignagar II gram panchayat of Ausgram I block. The process of making Dokra art is not that easy yet how proficient artist they are you will realize once you see the process of work. The best part is they take their work so seriously and do with passion, it can clearly be seen if you go there, spent time with them. All day long they work so hard and kids seem almost get involved with this art in their age itself. Like Bikna Best Season to visit In November or December they organize fair in their village. That is worth watching. But honestly we have gone in the starting of Summer. That time also they were on making and displaying their product in front of us. so there are no best season for visiting Dariyapur. Activity In any art village you should go to follow their work. You can spend time to discuss about their life style, daily work culture. I bet you will get the motivation, as they are really hardworking without expecting much. Because life taught them to make it simple and down to earth. You can easily mingled with them once you get into the conversation. Their are another thing to do while visiting these villages. You can buy stuff in comparatively low price than the city. Clearly they don't have to put any tax on the price of the thing as you are directly buy from them, Where as you have to a lavish amount when the same product come to the city to any varieties shop. Food There is no such food stall in that area. You have to come to Guskara market place for any kind of food. On sweet shop I should recommend that is Naru Gopal Mistanna Bhandar opposite of Guskara bus stop. You must try sweets from there. Things to remember
